Service 51 - Stoke Road, North Curry

Reason: Wessex Water to carry out a repair leak.
 
Access through the works has been granted for the first and last journeys of the day, although minor delays may occur. The 07:32 journey from Athelney and the 16:55 journey from Somerset College will operate as normal. The 09:00, 11:00 and 15:00 journeys from Castle Way will divert between North Curry and Athelney via East Lyng and will not serve Bottom Lodge or the Wetlands Centre. The 13:00 journey from Castle Way will operate between Castle Way and North Curry only, with no service to Athelney, Curload or Stoke St Gregory.
 
Service 23B - Brendon Road, Watchet

Reason: Wales & West Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.
 
This service will be unable to serve Watchet for this period and will follow a diversion between Williton and Doniford. 
 
Service 52 - Bower Hinton, Martock

Reason: Southwest Overhead Services to install new poles on behalf of Openreach.
 
The first and last journeys of this service will continue to serve Bower Hinton, The Green (07:50 and 18:18), diverting via the A303 through Martock and rejoining the route at Stoke Road/Water Street. The 10:13 and 14:23 journeys to and from Bower Hinton will terminate at Yandles, at the Hurst/Water Street junction.

South West Coaches   

Service 1 - Station Road, Castle Cary

The 1 service will not serve The Horsepond, Churchfield Drive and Station Road after 17:30. The alternative bus stop to use is Cumnock Road Bus Stop. The 667 service will not be affected by this closure.
 
Service CR5 - Digby Road, Sherborne

Times: From 15:00 on 11th and All Day 12th. 
 
The service will not serve Huish, Beer Street and West Hendford. The 60A will not be affected by this closure. The nearest alternative bus stop will be located at Preston Grove Surgery.
 
Service 667, 646 & 7 - B3153, Lovington to Lydford Crossroads

During this closure we will not serve Lovington Bus Shelter and Lydford bus stops. There will be temporary stops on the Keinton Mandeville side of the traffic lights and a temporary stop at the end of the Hornblotten Green turning at Lovington for the 667. The 646 and 647 will divert via Ditcheat and Alhampton on the pm runs, missing out Lovington and Alford. The buses going to Strode in the morning including the 667 will be let through the works in the Morning only.

Route 14 Service Update: Due to a diversion, Service 14 will operate via Holford Road, rejoining its normal route at the junction of Holford Road and Alfoxton Road. As a result, the Holford Road, Hawkridge Road and Alfoxton Road bus stops will not be served in either direction. Passengers are advised to use the alternative stops at Willoughby Road and Heathcombe Green. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.

 

Service 28, 28A - Staplegrove Road, Taunton (Bus Stop Suspension)

Due to road widening works, this bus stop will be temporarily suspended. Nearest alternative bus stops are at Burnshill or Manor Road.
 
Service 173 - Bath Road, Wells

Service 173 will divert between Wells and Gurney Slade via Bishops Park Way, Croscombe, Darshill, Bowlish and Shepton Mallet in both directions. All bus stops on the diversion route will be served.

Please note that Service 173 will not serve Dinder Village, Shepton Mallet Cenotaph, South Horrington, West Horrington or Binegar.

Temporary bus stops are available near the George Inn in Gurney Slade.

Somerset Council is operating a shuttle minibus between Wells, South Horrington, West Horrington and Haydon.

However, please note that there is no provision for alighting in the Frome direction, from ‘Dunkirk Business Park’, Southwick, until ‘Birchwood’, Beckington.
