Somerset RMT Strike Action: Tuesday 23 July and Wednesday 24 July 2024

The RMT have confirmed they will take industrial action this coming Tuesday 23 July and Wednesday 24 July. This will mean that there will be disruption to many of our Buses of Somerset services. Customers should go to our website and social media feeds for the latest information on which services will be running.

All current school services (where schools are in) will be covered as a priority.
We plan for any available staff to be deployed on the 21,22, 25, 28, 54, 58/58A, CR4 and Exmoor Coaster.
Unfortunately, no services are guaranteed, and the above is based on expected driver availability.

Hatch Green Coaches

SERVICE 97 - Tuesday 23rd July for 7 days

Owing to a road closure on Honiton road, we will only be serving Cannonsgrove on the following journeys: 09:00, 16:00 & 17:00. All other journeys will start and end at Staplehay.

SERVICE 19 - Due to the closure of Ward Lane, Chedzoy we are unable to serve Chedzoy and Slape Cross between Monday 22nd and Friday 26th July.

Service 51: from Thursday 14^th March until late July 2024 – works for Wessex Water between North Curry and Stoke Road.

Owing to works being undertaken by Wessex Water from Thursday 14th March until late July 2024, there is disruption to Service 51.

Phase 1 & 2 have been completed, and Phase 3 Started on Monday 3rd June and will last until late July. Due to the closure of Stoke Road, we will take a diversion along Meare Green to Huntham Lane and along to Huntham road and Broad Lane. We will be serving the Wetlands Bus stop.
