Services affected by Silver Street, Yeovil Closure

From APRIL 22^nd until May 10^th there will be a Road Closure to Silver Street. Which means Yeovil BOROUGH Bus Stop will, once again be Suspended!

Affecting the following services: -

SWC 1, CR5, 52, 81. - BoS 51, 54 - WoE 77/A - First Wessex CR6

Will follow the diversion below :-

The Diversion Route will be to turn off the hospital roundabout to park road as normal and turn left into Court Ash, then down to Market Street and on to the BUS STATION. (Diversion map below)

PLEASE NOTE There will be NO ‘Bus stop’ along Court Ash buses will go direct to the bus station!

Therefore, for those wanting to alight at the top of town please use the bus stop outside of the Hospitl

Somerset Council services 68, 44, 39,8 & 5 will use South Street. please use the ‘Keep bus stop’ for the top of town. As there will be no other bus stop before diverting to the bus station via court Ash.

HOWEVER The Diversion route for S WC services 11 & 96, Community transport 56 will be as follows:-

Buses will make their way to the Bus station via South Street. However, they will be able to drop passengers off outside “The Keep” for those wanting the top of town; Before continuing directly to the bus station

Please know this is not the fault of the bus operators and they have done all they can to reduce this disruption.

Hatch Green Coaches

Service 51: from Thursday 14^th March until late July 2024 – works for Wessex Water between North Curry and Stoke Road.

Owing to works being undertaken by Wessex Water from Thursday 14th March until late July 2024, there is disruption to Service 51.
Phase 1 which starts on Thursday 14th March, and lasts until Friday 3rd May, will see the closure of Stoke Road between its junction with the Curload turn and the junction with Huntham Lane.
The bus will not be able to serve the section of the route that is closed and the bus will follow a diversion via Huntham Lane in both directions on all journeys, Monday to Saturday, throughout Phase 1.
Phase 2 and Phase 3 information will follow, however we have been advised by Wessex Water that the planned requirement for an additional bus will no longer be required as Huntham Lane remains open throughout all three phases of the works. Please contact the Hatch Green Coaches office if you require further assistance.

Service 10C – Monday 22^nd April until Friday 24^th May: following a diversion in Martock and unable to serve The Railway Inn owing to the closure of Coat Road. Please board or alight on North Street. The service will follow a diversion between Martock and Coat via Stapleton.

Service 95 – Monday 22^nd April for 3 days: following a diversion in Merriott owing to the closure of Shiremoor Hill for Wessex Water. The service is unable to serve Lower Street and Shiremoor Hill on these 3 days. Please board or alight on Church Street for this period.
